“Supporting smooth communication with digital technology”“Experience the ‘Sound’ of the Games”UC Technology Introduction(UC) technology. This technology supports sounds Universal Communication communication between all people.Tokyo will use various digital technologies at TOKYO ���� DEAFLYMPICS competition venues to realise Games where everyone can communicate smoothly regardless of nationality or disability.Accessibility Desk will have “transparent displays” that show audio in multilingual text, Venue staff, including volunteers, will carry “tablets” to provide multilingual and text-based guidance for enquiries.Additionally, “displays” and “screens” throughout venues will show venue announcements, competition information, and competition progress in text format, providing information to spectators and athletes.By installing and utilising these technologies at all competition venues, we will realise “Games where everyone connects smoothly”.Some competition venues will also implement initiatives allowing spectators to enjoy competition commentary and competition sounds regardless of whether they can hear or not. Various technologies will be used, including “Miruoto” through lets you experience competition onomatopoeia, “Smart Glasses” which let you experience competition commentary through text, and the vibration device “Hapbeat” which lets you experience competition sounds through vibration.
