I� TOKYO����DEAFLYMPCS●Official Mascot●TOKYO 2025 DEAFLYMPICS Support Team●Medal DesignYuriito, Tokyo’s Sports Promotion Ambassador, has been for TOKYO ���� appointed as the official mascot DEAFLYMPICS. The TOKYO ���� DEAFLYMPICS official mascot Yuriito wears a T-shirt in cherry blossom pink, creating unity with the Games emblem that uses “cherry blossom petals” as its motif.To encourage many people to support TOKYO ���� DEAFLYMPICS and feel familiar with the Games, we have formed the “TOKYO ���� DEAFLYMPICS Support Team” featuring characters from various local governments. The TOKYO ���� DEAFLYMPICS Support Team will build momentum towards the Games and cheer on Deaf athletes across the country, helping to energise the Games.This is a design that hopes athletes show outstanding performances and widely spread their wings. Medal Ribbon“Indigo Iron color”, dark blue including green, is used which was favored by the Edo people. Two traditional Japanese patterns are combined.An Origami Paper Crane is drawn on the medal. This is a design that hopes athletes to spread their wings widely and show their outstanding performances.
