We have now opened applications, as of 29 October, for the use of video materials related to the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 25th Summer Deaflympics Tokyo 2025.

Broadcast Applications Now Open
We have now opened applications, as of 7 October, for those wishing to request broadcast rights for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 25th Summer Deaflympics Tokyo 2025.

Venues for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and General Admission Information
The Opening Ceremony will be held at two locations: the main venue in Tokyo (Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium) and a satellite venue in Fukushima (J-Village).

Eligible Participants
- Delegations
Athletes and others registered as part of the team delegation, excluding those participating in football (soccer) preliminary matches. -
Public Viewing
General spectators who are not part of the delegation (ID holders) may also attend. Advance registration is required for both domestic and international spectators. For details, please refer to the ePlus event website. Please note that if the number of applications exceed the capacity, a lottery will be held.

From Thursday 7 August 2025, at 2:00 PM (JST) to Sunday 31 August 2025, at 11:59 PM (JST)
Important Notes
- Only those with a valid ID issued to registered team delegation members or a general admission ticket will be allowed to enter the venue.
- Delegation members and general spectators will be seated in separate areas. (Even if family members have general admission tickets, they will not be seated together.)
- Even within the same national or regional delegation, those participating in the parade of nations will be seated on a different floor from the other members.
- Details regarding seat assignments will be announced later on the Delegations website and other official channels.

Fukushima Satellite Venue
Due to the competition schedule, football team delegations will be unable to attend the Opening Ceremony at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Please participate in the ceremony held at the Fukushima Satellite Venue instead.

The Closing Ceremony will be held only at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium in Tokyo.
