Payment of OC Participation Fee
We would like to inform National Deaf Sports Federations (ICSD Members) regarding the payment of the OC Participation Fee (This is separate from the ICSD Participation Fee) required to participate in the TOKYO 2025 DEAFLYMPICS. We kindly ask for your cooperation.
OC Participation Fee
￥10,000 (Ten thousand Japanese Yen) per person
In addition to the above, Each National Deaf Sports Federations shall be responsible for any expenses required for payment by bank transfer, such as currency exchange fees and remittance fees.
Payer
Each National Deaf Sports Federations sending the national team (delegation) to TOKYO 2025 Deaflympics shall be responsible for the payment of the OC Participation Fee for all members（number of people paying the ICSD Participation Fee）of their National Team.
As with the ICSD Participation fee, the following members are exempted from paying the OC participation fee.
- Referee
- Government representative (up to one person)
Payment method
In principle, the OC Participation Fee shall be paid by bank transfer.

If payment by bank transfer is not possible due to unavoidable circumstances, please contact us by email at the address below no later than the payment deadline.

In such cases, you will be required to pay in cash or by credit card at the ID Centre located at Deaflympics Square in Tokyo.

The same procedure applies if we are unable to confirm your payment or if the payment amount is insufficient.

Fees and other Charges
Each National Deaf Sports Federations shall be responsible for any expenses required for payment by bank transfer, such as currency exchange fees and remittance fees.
Non-Payment of the OC Participation Fee
If a National Deaf Sports Federations fails to pay all or part of the OC Participation Fee, ID cards shall not be issued to any member of the National Team. We shall not be responsible for any disadvantage to the National Team as a result of not issuing ID cards.
Information on the OC Participation Fee
An ID card will be issued upon confirmation of the OC Participation Fee payment.
Services provided with ID cards(Free of Charge)
- ID holder who have paid the fee is recognised as a qualified participant in the Games
- Round trip bus transport between official airports and accommodations reserved through official travel agency
- Round trip bus transport between specified pick-up/drop-off location and venues
- Drink at venues
Additional Costs to be Covered by athletes or each delegation
- Airfare
- Accommodation and laundry services
- Meals
- Participation Fee to ICSD
- Transport of sport equipment that cannot be carried on buses due to capacity
- Any additional services requested by the delegation (e.g. banquet, meeting rooms, etc.)
