Table Tennis
Overview
- Athletes compete for points by using a racket to hit a ball across a table over a net.
- A rally scoring system is used, with the winner being the first to score 11 points in one game.
- If the players tie at 10 points each, the game is played on until one side gains two points over the other.
Features as deaf sport
Same international regulations as hearing sport are applied to deaf sport.
For deaf athletes, considerations must be given to ensure that they are informed of the rules at the venue, announcements being made on-site, and general guidance information.
At the TOKYO 2025 DEAFLYMPICS, we consider ways to ensure athlete to be concentrated on competition.
